Economical laser wavelength measurement for pulsed & CW lasers

Coherent's WaveMate™ is the more affrordable option for wavelength measurements of pulsed and CW lasers from 450 to 1000nm. WaveMate can be set up quickly and easily with no special optical interface. It is ideally suited for monitoring the wavelength of tunable lasers and the stability of diode lasers. WaveMate can measure wavelengths with 0.1nm resolution (or 0.01nm with the HiRes option in CW mode only). Accuracy is +/- 0.5nm with CW lasers and +/- 1.0nm for a single shot pulsed laser.

Easy to Setup, Easy to Use

WaveMate’s control console provides menu-selectable functions, including measurement averaging, single pulse sample-and-hold, delta wavelength difference display mode, signal integration and background zero offset calibration. All functions can be set for fully automatic operation to provide maximum ease of use and accuracy.

WaveMate’s detector head design incorporates a temperature-stabilised, dual-wavelength response sensor element with built-in variable attenuator, AutoBlock™ background reference shutter and a background-limiting, alignment-insensitive, 4mm beam input port. WaveMate is calibrated at 13 wavelengths in the 450-1000nm range.

WaveMate comes as standard with an RS232 serial port, a connection cable and interface software. The sensor head is equipped with 1/4-20 and 6mm tapped holes and a post and stand are also provided. For non-pulsed measurement applications, an even more economical CW-only version is available, model WaveMate-C.
