Stable Absorption Spectra for Validating the Wavelength Calibration of SpectrophotometersSpectralon wavelength calibration standards provide stable absorption spectra for validating the wavelength calibration of spectrophotometers in the UV-VIS-NIR region. Each standard is formulated by doping Spectralon with a rare earth oxide that exhibits sharp absorption peaks at specific wavelengths. Complete absorption spectral data is supplied with each standard. A holmium oxide standards is available for UV-VIS-NIR calibrations, while a dysprosium oxide standard is offered for NIR calibrations. Meanwhile an erbium oxide standard is provided for VIS-NIR calibrations. Alternatively, a mixed oxide standard is available that is doped with all three rare earth oxides for use over the entire UV-VIS-NIR region. These durable and chemically inert standards are ideal for wavelength calibration of spectrophotometers, reflectometers and other spectral instruments. Calibration data for peak absorbance wavelengths and relative to maximum absorbance is provided with each standard.
