UV Optics for Laser Beam Profilers
Accessory optics for profiling of extreme UV lasersIt is possible to profile the beams from extreme UV lasers using Coherent's proprietary UV-to-visible fluorescence conversion faceplates that are designed for use with BeamView Analyser CCD cameras. Coupling directly to the C-mount thread on any Coherent CCD camera, the spatial intensity distribution from laser beams in the extreme UV band from 10 to 355nm can be analysed. The BIP-12F beam intensity profiler (bottom left image) is a compact, fixed 2:1 telescope which accepts beams of up to 12mm diameter in the wavelength range from 10 to 355nm. The front of the BIP-12F has a C-mount thread which allows it to be used in conjunction with the UV BeamCube when high-power attenuation is needed in the band from 190 to 355nm. The BIP-5000Z beam intensity profiler (top left image) has a zoom magnification range of between 6:1 and 2:1 and accepts beams of up to 30 x 40mm in the wavelength range from 10-320nm. It comes with the mount shown above. The BIP-5000SPL (top right image) is a high-power beamsplitter which provides additional high-power attenuation capability for the BIP-5000Z telescope. It is to be used when the laser beam power or energy density exceeds the recommended limits shown in the table below. It provides a right-angle pick-off function and attaches to the entrance aperture of the BIP-5000Z. Specifications & Ordering Information
