OWIS optical rail systems are the simplest and fastest way of managing your beam. The SYS 25 is the latest member of the SYS 40, 65 & 90 family of rails and slides which provide stable beam heights of 25, 40, 65 & 90mm respectively above the base surface. With an optical rail system you simply click a new slide onto a rail to add a new optical element at precisely the right beam heigh

The OWIS universal optical rail system comprises a family of 2D rails and 3D profile rails and slides. A slide simply clicks onto a rail and compatible stages or holders attach to the slide. Slides, holders & stages can be added or moved as required - all the while maintaining the optical component at the correct beam height without recourse to posts or post holders. There’s no simpler or faster way of managing your beam.

OWIS rail systems allow the researcher to create experimental setups quickly and easily. The investment is future-proofed as additional system components can be purchased as needs change. All rails are made from a special aluminium alloy with high dimensional stability and strength. The system rails, companion slides and other components such as optics holders form a modular beam handling system that can be adapted to suit changing needs. It is even possible to combine manual or motorised positioning stages with the rail systems.
