Self-Adhesive Laser Safety Eye Caps From LASERVISION

 

Present eye caps are made in most cases out of rigid material like metal or plastics. They are typically connected together with a nose bridge and are held in position by an additional head strap. However, LASERVISION’s new CAP2PROTECT technology removes the over complicated application process by utilising a unique self-adhesive effect. This effect is built into the material, and is sustained even after multiple uses. The adhesive part of the cap keeps it securely in a position which protects the eye of the patient against incident laser radiation and stray light from all directions. As designed for the medical market, the caps are of course suitable for sterilisation.

 

In order to increase laser protection and mechanical stability the eye caps feature an additional metal insert on the face of the eye. Due to its small size and thickness the comfort of the wearer is not affected by this at all.
