Laser Power & Energy Meters

Coherent - setting the standard in laser power and energy meters
Getting the right reading from your laser is a passion for us here at Pro-Lite. Which is why we teamed up with Coherent - the company which sets the standards in laser power meters and laser energy meters. Coherent's range of laser power and energy meters encompasses thermal, photodiode and pyroelectric sensors for measuring the power and energy from almost any laser, from nW to kW, from nJ to Joules, from femtosecond to continuous wave and from 190nm to 12µm.
Selecting Your MeterThe Coherent range of laser power and energy meters ranges from the highly affordable to the highly capable. Choose from traditional laboratory and portable meters as well as the handy LaserCheck probe that can be carried in a jacket pocket. The latest PowerMax-USB sensors shrink the power meter electronics into a USB connector which means that you can turn your PC into an advanced laser power or energy meter together with Coherent’s Windows® application software.

Selecting Your SensorWith the exception of the PowerMax-USB sensors, all Coherent laser power and energy meters use interchangeable "smart" sensors which communicate their calibration settings to the meter. This allows you to add sensors as your needs change. Three generic types of sensors are offered - thermal, optical (photodiode) and pyroelectric. Use the table below to choose the correct type of sensor for the type of laser you are working with and for the type of measurements you wish to make. PowerMax-USB sensors that turn your PC into an advanced laser power or energy meter are available as thermal and optical detector heads.
