Spectralon Grey Scale Diffuse Reflectance Standards
Grey scale reflectance standards for validating the photometric linearity of colorimeters and spectrophotometersSpectralon grey scale diffuse reflectance standards are used to establish the linearity and accuracy of reflectance spectrophotometers and colorimeters. The standards are suitable for users who need a wide dynamic range of reflectance values that are abbreviated in range, but not in number of calibration steps. Industries such as clay and processed minerals, paper, and paints typically require such a range, which accurately reproduce the range of reflectance values exhibited by those products. The standards are offered as a set of eight, with a range of reflectance values from 80% to 94%, in 2% reflectance factor steps. They are supplied with calibration data from 350-760nm traceable to national laboratory (NIST) standards. The calibrations are performed with a geometry of 8° illumination with hemispherical collection. Alternatively, a 0°/45° geometry can be used. The standards are supplied in two sizes, 1.25 and 2.00 inch diameter.. Ordering InformationThe table below lists the available sets of calibrated greyscale standards. We are pleased to supply uncalibrated sets, individual standards and custom sets containing specific combinations of reflectance levels on request.
