Recession Is Good For Acquisitions And New Products Say Executives

The Executive Committee of Photonex of this year's 20th Annual Exhibtiion met to discuss the recession with a panel of speakers and interactive audience Q&A.

The panel of speakers included:

Robert Yeo - Director of Pro-Lite Technology

The discussion was lead by Laurence Devereaux, Event Director from XmarkMedia, who introduced the talk as "a chance to take the pulse of the photonics market". And the overrall verdict was positive.

The speakers focused on the recovery since the 2009 downturn, and passionately stressed the confidence the industry should take in its comparative resilience amidst gloomy accounts from other
markets in the economy.
