Indium Antimonide (InSb) Detectors
Cooled infrared detectors for the 1 to 25µm band
Photovoltaic quantum detectors based upon indium antimonide (InSb) are used in the mid infrared band, from 1 ... 25µm. We supply a variety of standard and custom InSb detectors, including quadrants and multi-element arrays from 2 to 128 pixels. These detectors must be cooled (liquid nitrogen in a dewar, multi-stage Peltier cooler, or using a Stirling-cycle engine). Matched preamplifiers are available.
